Project Description
- Before I die it is my mission to create 250,000 or more jobs in communities where poverty and recidivism is prevalent. Therefore I am in this for life!
- The vision is for Royalty Gardens to be an industry leader in all natural personal care and home goods. We will offer an assortment of attractive fragrances for customers to enjoy in their soaps, shampoos, bath accessories, laundry soap, dish soap, deodorant, candles and more. Every product in our store will be made of real ingredients from plants and their extracted oils. No chemicals will be used in any product. This campaign is only to fund a the first building and the advertising needed to gain a critical mass. Other capital will be needed to create the full vision and expand even more.
- My mentors include 2 Detroit businessmen, a legal team, real estate agents, and a sales coach
- Currently I have 3 part time employees and myself working the business.
- Our Vegan Handmade soaps are selling 40-60 bars per week in colder weather. In the summer we were selling 60-80 bars per week
- We believe if we had a brick and mortar location, we would be able to keep traction, earn credibility in our local market, and attract more investors.

Q:What will the money raised here be used for?
A: We will purchase an abandoned building on Detorits Lower EastSide, rennovate it, and open for business in this location.
Q: What product does your company make/ sell
A: We well all natural personal care items. Our main product is vegan soap, but we also sell, bath bombs, shea butter moisturizer, washcloths, loofas and body spray. We are currently adding deodorant, body wash, toothpaste, mouthwash and bath towels. We do not make the products ourselves (in a basement), we have partnered with a soap factory (contracted manufacturing) to make sure all our items are safe, effective, and consistent.
Q: Why should we give to your campaign?
A: As a social entreprenuer, gifts to my campaign have an IMMDIATE impact on the community we serve. Please read about the blight issue in Detroit. Occupying space in the city neighborhoods makes it a safer place to live for everyone. Also, our country has witnessed a lot of injustice toward certain people groups. I am building this business to be a pillar of progress in a neighborhood that has been historically crippled by business blight--hiring ex offendors and giving job skills to youth who need new experiences. We will use the profits from business to reinvest in social services and other community development assets.
