- The Tea Ingredient is a loose leaf tea company and it’s mission is to bring bold and unique tea flavors to teacups everywhere. I would like to create tea blends that people are excited to try and will expand their love of tea.

Crème Brûlée Chai, one of our signature blends. - A lot of times when people think about tea their minds go to wellness teas. Something that could aid in helping them to feel better which is true, however I want to bring a fun element to tea. When you think of coffee you think of all the endless possibilities of flavors on can have and there are new flavors everyday. I want to help people fall in love with tea and realize that the beverage can be as complex and tasty as their morning cup of French vanilla coffee.
- The Tea Ingredient's loose leaf tea blends aim to bring the fun element to tea, create flavors that are exciting and makes people fall in love with tea. Our products are natural, rich in taste and is made of the best ingredients. While standard teabags are convenient and are the leading forms of tea consumption they tend to be made from dust and fannings which are smaller pieces of tea that can compromise the freshness and taste of the tea. Using loose leaf tea allows more room for the tea to expand and absorb water when steeped resulting in wide range of flavors and aromas from the leaves. This allows us to bring a bolder taste with all our blends.
- Getting funded will help with blend development, marketing and branding as well as supplies for packaging. Doing this on my own so far has been rewarding however having to rely on my salary alone I can only do so much each month. Funding would be a great help to further my vision.
