Something Sweet Candy Shop sell retro candies, ice cream, and milkshakes through the use of Carolina based vendors to build our economy using a fun environment.

The company products are retro and by weight candies. Candies, candy boxes, and subscription boxes are available via delivery or through shipment. The funds raised through the online business will fund a storefront that will embody an old-school candy shop with the opportunity to also sell ice cream, snowcones, and milkshakes

One of the issues within our hometown is that there are very few places or areas that are family-friendly or places that cater to young people.

Something Sweet would be the only self-serve, by weight candy store in the town.

Within our selected service area, there are currently no candy stores of this caliber. The area houses more than 70% of families with children. Looking at the population of the Sumter, most of the population are between the ages of 15 and 25. This is the ideal population due to the inventory and atmosphere of the business.

Funding will be used for the rent of a storefront in our historic downtown which has been building up for some time now.

The owner is currently the only person on the team. Opening a storefront would bring more hands-on deck. The company would need to employ up to ten individuals which would affectionally be called "The Candy Crew."

Yes. Delivery dates can be modified.

No, monthly subscriptions will be set to send each month in order to avoid confusion when it comes to shipping.
