- Luxe Noire is a CBD-lifestyle brand that caters to the self-care needs of women looking to cultivate luxurious me-time with products that help them relax to the highest degree.
- Luxe Noire's platform is grounded in promoting mental health and wellness, self-care, and teaching about CBD and cannabis.
- Luxe Noire is starting from the ground, up, but is building upon the awareness and popularity of self-care, mental health, and hemp/cannabis in the mainstream culture. This, along with the promotion of #BlackGirlLuxury, Luxe Noire is poised for rapid growth.
- Describe the problem you are solving.
- Black women are held to a standard where they are to be strong and support everyone else, while putting themselves on the back burner. We are also being left out of the conversation when it comes to the world of hemp and cannabis. As Black women, we have struggled with the concept of self-care
- We expend energy caring for other people while neglecting ourselves.
- Our mental health is suffering at unfathomable rates.
- Black are disproportionately underrepresented in the hemp and cannabis space.

- What is the market size/opportunity?
- Luxe Noire's target customer, called "Luxe Baes," are Black women who are leaning into #BlackGirlLuxury and are taking their self-care regimen to a whole new high.
- Luxe Noire's total addressable market is $673.6m. This includes Black women buying into the CBD skin care and smokeable pre-roll markets.
- If Luxe Noire can capture at least 0.2% to the total addressable market, our serviceable market is ~$1.35m.
- What is your company/product about and how does it solve the problem?
- Luxe Noire is here to help Black women reclaim their time and energy through
- Promoting luxury self-care;
- Creating a platform for women to enjoy rest and relaxation, guilt-free; and
- Reducing the stigma around hemp and cannabis.
- Luxe Noire will manufacture and sell CBD-infused candles, bath salts, body scrubs, massage oils, body butters, and teas alongside CBD (hemp) prerolls.
- Luxe Noire's messaging is clear: Self-care, but make it Luxe. This incorporates the notion that self-care is a part of life - it is matter-of fact - and that Luxe (luxury) can be a part of this process. 'Luxe" products contain CBD and are not you're everyday self-care regimen. This sends the message that Luxe self-care is exclusive, yet inviting and attainable. It is something that has a protected time and place that allows for indulgence and enjoyment.
- Being women-focused, Luxe noire capitalizes on women empowerment and how women should be recognize for our vulnerabilities, just as much as we are admired for our strength.
- Luxe Noire is positioned in the self-care/personal care and hemp/cannabis markets. The brand also has the experience of a professional mental health counselor who has studied mental health in the Black community - specifically, the mental health of Black women. This knowledge, coupled with the growth of the CBD and cannabis industry and the personal experience of being a Black woman teaching, promoting and having struggled with self-care and mental health, contributes to the unique positioning of Luxe Noire in the market.
- In understanding the mental health benefits of cannabis and CBD, Luxe Noire intersects self-care, personal care, and hemp/cannabis and caters to the unique experience of Black women.

- I am seeking funding for Luxe noire to purchase inventory, raw materials, supplies, and tools, to pay for a website, fees associated with a CBD business, and pay for product manufacturing.
- The funds from this campaign will jumpstart the brand launch and position the business to be successful from the beginning.
- Who is on your team?
- Right now, Luxe Noire is a one-woman-show. As the founder, I understand the importance of having a team. This is why I will work towards creating 3 new jobs in the next year in order to grow the business in an effective manner.
