Project Description
We are young all-female documentary production company founded in Moscow, Russia. Members of our team have journalistic, producer, director’s, writer’s and other relevant cinematic background. We select socially significant topics and talk about them in a high-quality documentary format.
The documentary film market in Russia is in its infancy. At the same time, there is practically no one to form this market for independent documentary films are practically unable to receive funding. In addition, there are crucial topics for the mass audience that cannot be supported by major local online platforms. Our production brings together these themes, puts them in a cinematic documentary form, gathers industry professionals around itself, so that every documentary filmmaker has the opportunity to realize their creative ideas.
Only two or three films of the twenty documentaries released in Russia are distributed internationally. Our task is to create market conditions under which the production of documentary films in Russia, along with fiction, will acquire highly paid professionals, a competitive environment, and high-quality content that will be in demand for purchase abroad.
We are four young documentary film makers and best friends: Anastasia Belskaya - CEO, Valeria Davidova - creative director, Anastasia Roslyakova - executive producer, Maria Vitkina - chief editor and script writer.
We launched our company in November 2021 and have developed more than 30 documentary projects, received funding for one of them and want to launch at least 3 more projects this year.
We love people, love to make them our heroes, love to follow their life journeys and love to share their brave, inspiring, shocking, crazy, funny, sad, incredible true stories with other people)
We strongly believe that good documentary films can make life better and we are extremely grateful to every person that helps us on this journey.
