Project Description

Misson:

ABG Special Education Consulting, Inc’s mission is to work with students, families, and schools to cultivate and foster success in academics, functional living, and social emotional skills.

Problems I am solving:

Adriane Gay created the organization for schools, students, and parents to enrich their lives with educational support, options, and advocacy, providing a holistic approach to ensuring the needs of each child is adequately met. Along with making IEP Meeting comfortable for the parents and the school, helping special education services meet the student needs, helping teachers teach at their level, helping the kids feel confident around the rest of the kids in the school, Build self esteem so students, families, and schools can be more confident navigating the Special Education process, inspire community development by building up educational leaders, and building IEP's that will help students become productive citizens of their community.

Market size/opportunity?

The Education Consultants industry offers non-instructional services to both students and educational institutions. Industry services have experienced an increase in popularity over the last five years, helping the industry grow strongly during the current five-year period, despite pressures during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. Industry operators primarily serve private clients seeking to boost education outcomes for a student. As college has become increasingly important for students and their families, consumers have become much more willing to contract industry consultants to advise on how to prepare their students for the admissions process. Postsecondary education has been in higher demand as job prospects have hinged on college degrees and a greater number of students are competing for these admissions slots. This trend has benefitted education consultants, which can provide a competitive edge to these students. As demand for industry services continues to grow, industry revenue is expected to expand at an annualized rate of 2.0% over the next five years, to total $2.2 billion, including the 2.7% boost in 2021 alone, amid economic recovery. General economic growth has driven the industry over the last five years. Per capita disposable income levels have risen steadily during the period, enabling consumers to have more resources to pay for education and the discretionary services provided by industry operators. Armed with deeper pockets and a willingness to spend on educational outcomes, consumers have increasingly contracted accomplished educational consultants. High demand and the implementation of online and telecommunications technology have enticed and enabled several operators to enter the fold. However, a surge of new entrants during the current period has encouraged price-based competition amid a swathe of new operators, restricting profit margins.Nevertheless, heightened demand for education consultants has supported profit growth. Over the next five years, many of the trends that are driving current performance areexpected to endure, as income levels and the number of college students are expected to continue rising, particularly as economic activity resumes following the pandemic. However, continued price-based competition is expected to slow revenue growth slightly to an anticipated annualized 1.3% over the next five years, leading industry revenue to total $2.4 billion.

What is your company/product about and how does it solve the problem:
