Small Business Post Covid Relief

Hi, I'm Stacey Sizemore, Holistic Life Coach and Training Facilitator. In October 2019, I started my company, Driven By Purpose Consulting, a Coaching and Training business designed to promote healthy mindsets, self-acceptance, and total well-being.

As we are all aware, the pandemic has left many small businesses struggling. No amount of fiscal preparedness can make you ready for two years of a global pandemic.

When the pandemic first started in February/March 2020, life as we once knew it; changed drastically. We had to figure out a new way of doing things, and briefly, the world stood still. As a small business owner, being the first in my family to become an entrepreneur added a new level of determination. I had to find ways to offer my services to accommodate clients and remain operational. At this time, 80% of my client base received services in-person, and other services were provided online or over the phone.

I experienced a tremendous loss in revenue for most of 2020 due to the uncertainty of the economy. People were experiencing being furloughed, reduced income or job loss. As a holistic life coach, my passion is motivating and inspiring people experiencing obstacles, failures, change, etc. I continued to interact with my clients online and by phone regardless of pay because I knew, if no other time, people needed to be heard and inspired.

As a holistic life coach, I help people see their lives as a whole, not just in individual parts. This coaching style helps activate inner strength, access true potential, and encourage transformational life changes that eventually create the desired life.

My company's mission is to provide affordable professional and highly effective training and life coaching services to a wide range of clients that cuts across different sectors. Building a highly competitive and compelling presence will become the number one choice for individuals and organizations in Eastern Region.

The demand for the services of life coaches and training facilitators grows when personal or professional stress arises or intensifies, as well as under strong economic conditions. Experts project the Life Coaches industry to grow at a 3.3 percent annual rate in the coming years. The industry is a thriving economy sector and generates a whooping sum of over 9 million annually from more than 12,043 registered and licensed life coach companies scattered around the United States.

Lastly, as a life coach, the key attributes needed to succeed from the trade are patience, enthusiasm, passion about the specific area or goals to be handled, and constant positivity. Asking for help is never easy; during this time, I realized that my passion for helping others is more significant than my ego.
