Showered with Love

From Heart to Hand is a small non profit.  Our focus is to help elevate our people and alleviate the burdens many of our Louisville residents face.  From my heart, to your hands! It’s imperative to ensure that as many people as possible have access to daily essentials, without barriers making it it harder or unappealing to obtain!  Let us be there for you!

Showered with Love is our first big project, and what we are doing is providing unhoused individuals with the ability to take showers during this pandemic!   

There are a large number of unhoused individuals in the Louisville, Kentucky, as well as Indiana area that need access to to facility’s to clean them selves up.  There are absolutely no other options for people to take a warm sower besides the few shelters that are scattered around town, and a lot of people don’t make it into these shelters, or simply don’t feel safe in them.

We are currently offering showers in several camping shower tents that has two sides to it one to take a shower the other to undress/dress in.  We are using this as a temporary set up until we are able to raise funds for a permanent solution which would be a mobile showering truck. 

I am seeking funding as our current set up is efficient but it will not allow me to continue this service throughout the colder seasons as it’s not heated.  We are seeking funding to purchase a truck and having it fitted for 2-3 full bathroom set ups.

From Heart to Hand is tan by all single black mothers that refuse to sit back and watch our veterans, and other community members be ignored as they each fight their individual battles!
