She Can is committed to assisting youth we serve by creating a safe living and learning environment that support health and ongoing growth.Describe the problem you are solving.

Our organization began in 2021 with one purpose, to give young teens in the foster care system an opportunity to become an asset in their personal realm and to the workforce. Since then we have grown into a full mentorship and leadership academy with aspirations to guide our troubled youth and present them with positive opportunities within the workforce and in everyday life. We believe that the youth in our foster care system is in need of positive role models that inspire and guide them in a way that leads to a life of prosperity and abundance despite the situations they are currently faced with.

We are seeking funding to continue our operations. We started this journey with our own saved funds over time. We had a 9 month delay in the license process and rent was still due with no income coming in. We are now accepting placements and currently have girls in our care. Though we have girls in our care our funds have depleted due to a delay in payments up to 60 days from the contract. We are needing to hire additional staff in order to gain more placements to pay for staff to carry on the good deed. The funding will be spent 100% on operation cost to care for the girls, and additional staff.
