For Sewing, Fabric, & the love of Community

We have a passion for all forms of textile art, sewing, crafts, fabric, and for our local community, currently without its own fabric shop; the closest one being a 30+ minute drive on a good day.  Robertson County is an idyllic rural town (a confirmed HUBzone), just north of Nashville Tennessee, with a population of just over 70,000.  Being close to Nashville our town is often chosen for both movies and music videos and it has a thriving calender of community events. Though still small Springfield is currently growing rapidly and has grown by nearly 14% in the last 10 years!

Before jumping in the deep end of storefront life we spent July, August & September in a pop-up shop to determine the validity of our desire to bring a sewing studio and fabric store to Springfield, Tennessee. The result was a resounding yes and we have now found a permanent home by renting 8000 square feet of a small shopping strip. Lots of work needs to be done to prepare this space for retail shoppers: electrical work, framing out classrooms, lighting replacement, new flooring, and renovating restrooms that are currently only accessible by stairs (shown below). We plan to separate the 8000 square feet into 3 suites, 2 classrooms and warehouse space.

We will carry an array of fabric including both quilting fabrics along with quality apparel knit and woven fabrics. We will carry notions like threads, cutting supplies, snaps and more.  We have also established a relationship with a local sewing technician so that we can keep our customer's machines functioning for all those great projects!

Eunoia was established by me, Shannon Krieger, in 2018. In 2021 it was clear that Eunoia, through international sales of our sewing pattern design product, was ready to expand . I brought on 3 additional owners: Alisha, Sarah, and Mallory. We now operate a Dance Division, Children’s division, Fabric Division and Pattern Division.

We are so excited to integrate ourselves into our local community and continue to develop those relationships. We can’t wait to get started on all the renovations and add new life to a local shopping area.
