Sensory Room

I am a mental health therapist who works in a socioeconomically depressed area. I offer reduced-cost counseling services and free parenting classes on various topics.  I specialize in working with children who have experienced trauma, anxiety, and depression. As a previous special education teacher, I am also skilled in working with children who have been diagnosed with emotional disabilities, autism, sensory processing disorders, and attention issues. My experience in education and training as a licensed therapist allow me to combine my passions of helping children who have experienced trauma and children with special needs. I would like to create a sensory room for children, where they can receive therapeutic services and learn coping skills to navigate their struggles. This space will allow me the ability to offer something unique and much needed to the area where I serve. Furthermore, your funding assistance will allow me to keep costs low for my clients!
