Project Description
Hi, my name is Audrianna. As the CEO and Directing Founder we are crowdfunding to get our hybrid nonprofit - for profit Business off the ground. 4 Tha Culture Art District will be a bookstore, art gallery and arts center all in one.
We will be the first Gallery Bookstore, not only the first Gallery Bookstore but the first Women and Black-owned Gallery Bookstore in South Carolina. Exciting and interesting, right? Our mission is to not only represent and empower artists of color, but all creative artists while embodying their artistic culture and educating and strengthening the community.
After thorough research and careful planning my team and I have found the confidence and means to bring this amazing experience to SC’s Capital. Sticking beside our mission we plan to be a safe haven and to give back rather than taking. Artists from SC have so much to give with lack of acknowledgment and opportunity. There are plenty of events and places worth the while, very few are consistent.
As a black artist myself, I have found it quite frustrating that I have to overextend myself for resources and opportunities. With the rise of violence, drugs, incarcerations, social and economic issues, nightclubs and more this is something we need. Many of the youth in Columbia, SC and SC in general lack consistent role models, educational programs and the motivation to really flourish.
We plan to offer: retail sale of new and gently used books, retail sales of artwork mentorships, art exhibitions, meet and greets, book signings, poetry slams, on demand educational workshops, programs for children, volunteer services for other Nonprofit Organizations and so much more.
Right now, we only have a social media presence. We are working on giveaways and art and book drives. We are also currently seeking talented artists, volunteers and resources to join us along our journey of growth. Artists preferred but not limited to:

We are not only asking for monetary donations, ALL donations are welcome. For other donations please contact us by email or by phone contact information is located on our website.
Any funds received will go directly towards the official filing of the remaining paperwork we need to file, the leasing of a brick and mortar, cosmetic work, inventory and proper technology to bring this to life in it’s fullest potential. There are few potential brick and mortar locations we are interested in ranging between $2,000-$5,000 a month.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Do the featured artists make money?
Yes, we only receive 5% of their art sale unless art pieces are donated. That 5% goes directly towards our youth programs.
Do all artists have to be from SC?
No, we are open to everyone, from anywhere.
How will the store survive if you aren’t asking for much and don’t plan to charge much?
We are going to survive by hosting events that are related to the stores activities. Our financial management department is great and experienced. We will generate sales through NFT art, Digital Art Galleries, Ticket Sales and Event sales.
You will receive a custom graffiti/cartoon painting on a 16x20 sized canvas, a social media shoutout and a first edition copy of the founders upcoming book and a ticket to our first art exhibition.
We appreciate you and we can’t wait to grow and be a great help to our community with your help.
You support the cause, but you may not have much to give right. We completely understand.
