Scooter Business Needs A New Store

Hello!  I'm Diane Kirby... owner of the first all-electric dealer of motorcycles, scooters, skateboards and bicycles in the 6 New England states.  I'm proud to say my company is 100% female-owned.  In the 18 months I've been open, I've met lots of wonderful people, including veterans and disabled people looking for affordable scooters they can ride on New England roads, legally.  Unfortunately, I could not accommodate them because banks, online lenders and investors will not fund electric recreational vehicles.  This disinterest on the part of potential lenders has crippled my business.  Without the inventory the low-income communities are requesting, my potential sales volume is limited.   Within months of moving into my new location, I was the victim of a break-in, in which numerous scooters were stolen.   In the same week, my landlord was forced to sell the building, and the new landlords have asked me to vacate the premises. Fortunately,  the City of Chicopee, Massachusetts has reached out with a strategy to help me build an affordable, permanent location to put my scooter store.   The City would really like to see my project come to town, and having been in business only 18 months, the City understands that because I am a start-up, getting a conventional real estate loan will be impossible.  So this is where I need the help of crowdfunding and your pledges!  In order to get the project started, I need to obtain obtain the one/third-acre parcel the City has directed me to.  Once I obtain ownership of the land, the city will work its magic to help me obtain grants and a low-income loan to build my new facility where I can establish myself and build my brand.  The proposed mortgage will be less monthly, than I've been paying for rent.  Please consider pledging to my campaign, to keep the first all-electric scooter store open in New England.  It's a short campaign because the City of Chicopee is diligent about getting started, so my store will be ready to open for April 1st, 2024.  Thank you!!
