In this fast-paced, interconnected world, it's ironic that many of us experience experience deep feelings of social isolation and disconnection. Despite having hundreds of online connections, we crave meaningful engagement, critical thinking and genuine interactions. At Shestel, we recognize this problem and set out to create a solution that would bridge the gap between technology and human connection.

Shestel is within the Online Media and Entertainment industry valued at $945.23 billion in 2023 spanning across four (4) segments. The industry is projected to reach a valuation of $1,305.3 billion by 2026.

Considering the fragmented state of our digital landscape and the impact on consumers, Shestel realizes the following items as opportunity to create change:

- Develop a platform that will intersect social community and the realms of entertainment including movies, TV shows, books and music;

- Create social networking opportunities to help people find a place to belong based on common interests;

- Navigate the developed platform as an ecosystem to help people reduce the pressure of disconnection and isolation effect generated by a need to reshape the landscape of social connections. 

- Help users discover their preferences both from personalization and social communities while they can organize their preferred content, explore and discover new content to improve self-awareness and connect beyond geographical boundaries. 

• What is your company/product about and how does it solve the problem? 
• Shestel is a social networking platform that intersects the realm of movies, realms shows, and adapted books and featured music to bring people of similar interests closer to generate genuine conversations, critical thinking supported by technology to enhance human engagement and solve the virtual disconnection and social isolation issues. We are including features and functionalities to help users have genuine human engagement through personalized experience and community building.

• Why are we seeking funding?

We have a beta platform that requires technology development to take it to the next level. Currently, we are integrating a book database for all movies and TV Shows on the platform that are adapted or inspired on books to offer users more content to personalize their exploration and discoveries and engage with others for more interesting conversation.

•  How will you spend the funding?

Our ask for fund will be spent to cover expenses related to Technology Development for the book database, improve the UI/UX design and correct bugs. additionally, we will cover Marketing costs, Overhead expenses and Hiring talented staff members to help us carry out this phase of the platform development.

• Who is on our team?

Our team is comprised of various, diverse and talented people who are open to life, forward-thinkers and visionaries. We have:

- Doloreste Jean Baptiste, Founder/CEO of Shestel. She has a passion for arts and interpretation. She likes communities, women empowerment and social progress. She has a background in Business Management, Development and Execution and International Relations with MBA from the University of The People, Certified in Financial Planning and Data Analysis.

- Robb Cheeks, He is  Marketing Strategist and Growth Architect. Self employed and he is specialized in proximity marketing strategy. He is passionate about human relations, development and communication. He has experience in Online Media and Entertainment and enjoy working and creating Artificial Intelligence programs including SWERVED Software.

- Hannah Yukon "Cosmic" our Content Creator. She is an art teacher, blogger and writter. She is free spirited and forward thinker. She has passion for arts in many form and has a foundation that embodies her belief and her way of life as human and our behavior in coexistence as species. 

- Nitish Kumar,  He is the Co-Founder Technical Director and Digital Marketing head of InfyQ Solutions Pvt Ltd, a Technology company based in India. He is the Head if Shestel Technology Development.

- InfyQ Solutions our partner for web development, SEO

- AJ Kintner Advisors and investors for small companies. He is the Vice President Sales at LG Ads Solutions located in the U.S. and he is our strategic sales advisor

- Chintan Oza is a board member to multiple companies from the U.S. and abroad. he has expertise in Marketing, Certifed in Business from Berkeley and graduated from Blockchain Staretegy program from Oxford University. He is our Go to Market advisor

- Igor Arkovski is the Co-founder of Antweb in Macedonia graduated from the Faculty of Economy at Cyril and Methodius, He has Technological expertise and is currently the CTO to Domunus. He is our Information Technology advisor.
