Helping women feel and believe they are beautiful by creating bridal gowns that elevate their confidence.

The Problem

There are so many options available to brides and the pressure to be "perfect" is overwhelming. They can feel like their bodies won't "fit" or look good in specific dresses and feel unworthy of having something custom-made because spending money on themselves feels selfish and unnecessary.

For this reason, brides tend to struggle with envisioning their final look. They may have difficulty choosing the right colours, styles, and accessories to complement their dress and makeup. This can lead to frustration and anxiety, ultimately affecting their self-confidence and the overall experience of the bride-to-be.

The Solution

Reign Bridal designs dresses that are youthful, feminine and fantasy inspired. Dresses that bring out a bride's best features so they can feel their most confident. We also:

1. Provide the bride with a private, stress-free and enjoyable experience, ensuring they feel confident and beautiful on their wedding day. 
2. Encourage brides to "come as they are", help choose styles for their body type and promote body acceptance with sizes from 0-32 and everything in between with the option to make dresses that are made-to-measure.
3. Provide a personal styling and design service that includes a consultation with the bride-to-be to discuss her preferences, style, and wedding theme. From there, create a digital sketch of her dress. This will help her to see how everything will come together on the big day.
4. Create a personalized makeup palette for each client, based on their skin tone, hair colour, and wedding theme. This will ensure that their makeup complements their dress and overall look. The high-quality makeup products are simple and empowering for brides when they can accomplish their makeup themselves.

Target Audience

Our gowns blur the line between fantasy and modern bridal without looking costumey.  We cater to brides who want a dress that reflects their personal style rather than traditional bridal fashion. They also want the guidance and expert knowledge from a stylist who can help them envision their end look clearly. Every woman has felt less than perfect at some point so each one deserves to feel special in their own unique way.  At Reign, we welcome the dreamers, the ones who dare to be different, and those who are determined to write their own fairytale. 

An average of 2.4 million weddings are performed annually in the U.S. (approx. 150,000 per year in Canada). Couples spend on average a total of $22,000 and $30,000 in Canada (slightly more, at around $33,000 in the U.S.) and even despite COVID repercussions, the wedding industry is still one the most lucrative joined also by the beauty industry and both have dictated how women have felt about themselves for decades. Providing the gowns and support to help women believe they are enough, just the way they are, would make a lasting difference. In a day and age of face filters, photoshop and unrealistic beauty standards we need to see real skin and real bodies celebrated.

Wholesale

The boutiques we serve are just as important as our brides. Being a small designer I have the flexibility to work closely with you to understand the unique needs of your business. As a wholesale member, it will be easy to order, re-order and book trunk shows for your shop through our website. 

Why Funding?

I have designed a mesmerizing collection featuring upcoming and current trends. We need to order samples of each style from our amazing production partner. I'm raising $4000 USD to fund the upfront costs needed for producing: 

- the next 3 dress design samples for the "Love Spell" Collection

- a professional photo shoot for marketing material

- garment bags, hang tags and sew-in Labels with brand logo

About Love Spell

"Your eyes befall a vision of ethereal beauty – enchanting as the very mystery that surrounds her.

Love Spell will be inspired by the romance of Victorian gothic tales.  

Featuring:

 Light and airy tulle fabrics, sheer bodices with lace, corset detailing, shoulder veil and trend-setting sleeves. On two of the dresses, these sleeves can be removed for an additional look.  Since it's early in development some details may change during production.

Prices are TBD until production (avg. being $2200-$2800) and will be available to order in store February/March 2024.

If are interested in making a deposit for a gown but would like more information on the styles please do reach out through our website. Please note these gowns will not be ready until early 2024. If you need a gown sooner we'll be happy to provide you with a quote for a custom gown.

The Rewards

There are five types of rewards to benefit current brides, shop owners and everyone else! Canadian friends, please be aware IFundwomen charges US$ on all rewards.

1.  Strictly monetary, we'd be forever grateful for any amount you feel comfortable contributing. Everyone who contributes will get a heartfelt "Thank You" note and will be listed as a patron or sponsor for the collection on our website!
2.  A Consultation - if you are interested in getting a quote for a bridal gown or want to see the collection made without the upfront commitment of a deposit then this reward is your opportunity! Can be private, in-person or virtual.
3.  Put a Ring on It - this is it, you want a Reign Bridal gown! Use this reward to make it official, aka, a deposit on making your gown. This includes custom designs and gowns from the Love Spell Collection. There is also the opportunity to order a custom embroidered veil.
4.  '23 Soar Collection Sale Event rewards: Get the previous season's gowns at a considerable discount, boutique buyers are also welcome to purchase for resell! After, we will contact you for size selection.
5.  The Raffle: this reward enters you in a draw for a fabulous beauty package worth $400 CDN. There are a limited number of tickets, and each one equals a single entry. Throughout the campaign, there may be ADDITIONAL prizes and bonus ways to enter, but an initial ticket must be purchased first.

The Future

Stretch goals for Reign Bridal include adding prom and evening wear to our offerings. It would be extremely rewarding to reach teens at a stage in life where their level of self-confidence sets them on a positive path for the future. It is our dream to achieve enough profitability to be able to contribute to women's & girls' charities and make a positive impact on lives with more than just beautiful garments.
