Redefining Our Membership Launch

OUR MISSION

Redefining Our is a wellness service providing curated, holistic health care dedicated to ensuring all marginalized people the human right to receive the optimal mental health care they deserve. Our vision is for all people to have access to personalized mental health care and tools to live at their highest selves. 

OUR CHALLENGE

Research has shown Black women, regardless of socioeconomic status or healthcare coverage, are more than 50% more likely to experience poorer health outcomes after seeking treatment in comparison to their white counterparts due to racial biases and acts of discrimination. Overall, both Black and POC are less likely to seek and engage in mental health care treatment. Recent research has shown young adult Black and POC are to engage in mental health care more than ever before and seek community via online platforms. Yet, available mental health and wellness platforms and services are scarcely serving the unique needs of Black and other marginalized communities.

OUR OPPORTUNITY 

We are launching a crowdfunding campaign to get us to the finish line of providing our membership packages. For over a year, we have cultivated a network of over 100 licensed therapists and health practitioners all over the U.S. that have joined us in our mission to provide you access to curated and affordable wellness.

Our membership includes mental health consultations, free access to all of our events, access to our holistic care directory that entails a listing of licensed psychologists, healers, and health-promoting businesses offering free and exclusive discounts on their services and products.

We are offering a monthly and annual membership to the Redefining Our community. Here's what you can expect:

• Free access to our online and in-person events.

THE TEAM

CEO and Founder, Kailyn Lynch, created Redefining Our as a response to the need for accessible mental health and wellness to marginalized people. With help from Co-Founder and COO, Pariis Garcia, the Redefining Our team is dedicated to using their knowledge as mental health and wellness professionals to break down the barriers of mental health care.
