Project Description
- Mission: Heit Home Builders, LLC has a mission to go beyond cookie cutter homes. My vision is to build midsize homes that perfectly combine functionality and aesthetics while maintaining affordability.
- Experience: Prior to home building, my husband and I did home renovations starting with smaller projects like changing out trim and doors and eventually doing complete tear-downs of bathrooms and kitchens. We have seen it all and have learned from previous DIY'ers shortcomings. We take pride in completing projects the right way the first time.
- HOT Market: I live in a very desirable, small city that has a very healthy housing market. New lots and developments are readily available and selling quickly!
- The problem: The problem I see in the housing market is that some homes are too basic for the price; that beautiful character homes used to have is disappearing. New homes should feel and look new but should also have that special attention to detail in the design aspects. Clients want that extra character that separates their home from the next and makes their investment feel personal to them. What I bring to the table is experience in building and interior design; I know what it takes to build a home that has a lasting impact and sells itself.
- Why I need YOU: In March 2020, I was laid off due to Covid-19 with a newly purchased home, a couple years of renovation experience, and nowhere to turn. I began the business with a very optimistic mindset that this would be my saving grace. I went all the way from getting licensing, insurance, and establishing an LLC, to completing a few bids to get an idea of what these homes would cost to build. I have a solid foundation, the skillset and ambition to begin, but a lack of funding to market the business and begin building.
- Owner: I am the sole owner of my LLC and looking for investors to help my business thrive!
