Raising for a Tattoo Marketplace App

Tattd is here to connect clients to their ideal Tattoo Artist, all while supporting local, freelance Artists with new clientele. It solves a significant issue for both side of the market: For clients, we have to sift through pages on Google or Yelp or try Instagram hashtags, and don't have an intelligent search at our disposal to find an Artist. For Artists, they're left to their devices to market and promote themselves, and essentially rely on luck that clients discover them.

The Tattoo industry is growing significantly. 145 Million Americans are tattooed. Last year, $1.7 Billion was spent on getting tattoos.

Very few platforms have solved for this problem. The Tattd app has an advanced, kayak-like search and a database of the most sought-after Artists. We launched on Android and iOS in September 2020 and have had amazing traction! We're looking for a little help to get us to a revenue-stable place. It will be spent on additional developers, marketing and ad creation, and expansion to new cities in the US.

A few things about me:

• I've been the 1st employee to a Tech Founder 3x; two of these companies have been acquired
• I've been through 2 accelerators with other companies (XRC & NVP) and mentor for one now (NUMA)
• I've spent years managing engineers at multiple app development firms
