Pridescoop - Social Media for the LGBTQ+ Community

The mission of PrideScoop is to provide a "home" for ALL members of the LGBTQ+ Community.  A place where they can connect globally, safely,  and freely interact without censorship.

PrideScoop will be a place where all relevant information for the LGBTQ+ Community can be found.  The website has a News section, Calendar of Events,  LGBTQ+ Friendly companies and organizations listings, and a Marketplace for members to create Pride Shops offering goods and services to the community...among other things.  

The funding will enable our team to add more features necessary in today's world of social media, including most importantly Streaming capability, and also a Jobs board / Resume function for all the LGBTQ+ Friendly companies and organizations to utilize.  We would also like to add a section for LGBTQ+ Creators to showcase their work, including Filmmakers, Musicians, Authors, Artists and Social Influencers.  The funding will help meet the high costs involved with programming, so that our entire vision can be realized.

Currently, the two primary team players are Nancy Kruger and Dianne St. George.  Nancy has been active for over 10 years running women's events in the community, and also developing an entire line of Greeting Cards and gifts for the LGBTQ+ Community under another company, Rainbow Memories.   Dianne has an extensive business background and both also have experience with web design.

After several attempts with various companies over the past 2 years, Bower Web Solutions has finally been able to bring PrideScoop to the finish line.

At this time, we are completing our testing phase, and with the help of social media influencers, Kayla and Samantha Stewart we will be launching PrideScoop in front of over a million LGBTQ+ individuals on TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.

According to Gallup, "the percentage of U.S. adults who self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or something other than heterosexual has increased to a new high of 7.1%, which is double the percentage from 2012, when Gallup first measured it."  Of course, this number does not include those who do not disclose their orientation, and does not include the rest of the world, so we know the actual number is much higher.
