- What is the mission of your company or project? Creating a social network based on personal recommendations while still maintaining peoples data privacy.
- Describe the problem you are solving.
- When you want to connect/introduce two people within your network for a specific reason, you should have the ability to easily do that with a few clicks. In doing that, you should not have to worry about what personal contact details each party involved is comfortable sharing with the other. Lastly, when you are looking for a connection, you should have the ability to tap into your network to request a personal recommendation and not have your personal contact details shared as a way for them to introduce you.
- What is the market size/opportunity? - $1 Billion
- What is your company/product about and how does it solve the problem? Pluhg provides a service that allows people to request or make connections with a few clicks, and still maintain data privacy for all parties involved.
- Why are you seeking funding and how will you spend the funding? The current round of funding will allow us to dedicate full time resources to evolving and marketing Pluhg:
- Evolving: At the moment we have developed a Web App version of Pluhg for the first release. Funding will allow us to eventually develop a native App version of Pluhg so that is can be downloaded from the App stores. The Web App version also has technical limitations that can only be addressed by moving to a native App version.
- Marketing: At the moment we need to recruit a team or company to craft a marketing strategy for Pluhg that involves targeting a specific niche market. Pluhg can be used to connect people for many things, however, targeting non-specific users in our marketing is not working. We will need to target a specific user base.
