A Place Where Our Brothers and Sisters Can Shine

The Mission of The "Jakaba" Experience is to provide a relaxed ambiance where you can unwind from a long workday, network with other business associates, and support upcoming artists and entertainers. 

There are very few upscale venues that are catered to, operated, and staffed by African Americans. This is the service that I want to provide to my community.  Not only will it provide employment, but also a place where upcoming artist and entertainers can showcase their talents and skill set. 

I am seeking funding to help with the interior/exterior renovation of a historic building in our downtown area. The funding will also be used to purchase art from undiscovered Black artists to be displayed. 

My team is made up of a few of my family members and friends. We are dedicated and determine to create generational wealth in our families and communities. We are coming together to renovate our Downtown area so that we can bring "The Black Wall Street" back!!!
