Project Description
- The mission of this project is to raise capital to expand my pet care business by acquiring land for clients dogs to come romp, sniff, play and explore for hours. A tired dog is a happy dog, right? Happy dog, happy owner.
- The present issue that creates the most challenge is not being able to take on every dog owner who wants more for their pet(s). To make this happen, the business needs to have an additional choice for exercise other than the current options available to stand out in the crowd of the hundreds of pet care providers in San Mateo County. The pet care industry is constantly evolving with creative ways to make each outing engaging and fun.
- The sky is the limit. I have retained 18 clients who have been onboar.for years, some owners are on their second dog with me .12-Since 2008, the waiting list has grown but I cannot do this alone. The need to hire qualified personnel is imminent in order for the business to flourish and grow.
- Pawsitive Energy provides on-leash group walks, off-leash beach outings, overnight pet sitting in the clients' home as well as cat care for those who travel. Basic obedience and leash training are always force-free.
- Funding would be used to purchase or supplement the acquisition of land for a 'dog ranch'. Funding would also help with the purchase of a company vehicle and retain an accountant.
- Currently, I am the show. I have worked all throughout stage III breast cancer chemotherapy and radiation, until the reconstructive surgeries began. Working 16 hour days is the norm, but after 15 years of dedicated hard work, I really need to rock the next 15 years.
Your support will be a blessing not only for the business but for the dogs who are in my pack. The invitation is open to all donors to come enjoy a dog park social upon completion of the 'dog ranch'
