Project Description
OshSpot is our social media app. It lets fans and their friends engage with their favorite celebrities. OshSpot guarantees you will get answers to your questions from your favorite celebrities and at the same time sit in on live events enabling you to get away from the TV and connect on a personal level.
Picture this…'Jenna' normally goes to the movies with her friends to see Leo DiCaprio and live concerts with her friends to see Lady Gaga. But currently new movies and live entertainment are not available. Jenna is bored and wants new options for entertainment.
What if she and her friends could have coffee with Leo DiCaprio and sit in on Lady Gaga singing and answering questions that she requested?
Now she can with OshSpot. We offer virtual experiences that allow Jenna to feel like she's in the room with celebrities she follows. They'll answer the questions she needs to have the answers to and can’t get answered on social media. Now when Jenna wants to connect with Leo or Lady Gaga she can!!
We have a prototype, but before we can introduce it to the world, we need to hire software developers.

- What happens if you don’t reach your $8k stretch goal, will I receive a refund?
- If we don’t achieve the $8k goal to hire a developer we will use the funds in our search to attract an Angel Investor to show that we have funds to invest and will not have to rely for 100% funding from an angel investor. So you won’t receive a refund but your gifts will still be used to continue with development of the product.
- What celebrities will be available?
- We are actively working on securing A list celebrities for 1Q21
- How do you know your app will be liked?
- We completed market research from ages 8 – 52, which included a demo of our story boards and a survey after the demo. 86% of the participants were interested and excited about using the application
- What will you do with the funds you raise?
- Our initial stretch goal is $8,000. With these funds we will hire a developer to complete a significant portion of the development of OshSpot.
- When will OshSpot be ready for us Fans?
- We are targeting to release OshSpot in 1Q21
- Why can’t we see the Story Boards?
- A risk and challenge we face is trying to protect our concept. We are taking precautions to ensure our patent-pending concept is not copied by a larger well-funded company before we are able to go live and therefore we are not able to provide pictures of our story boards in an interest to protect our idea.

- What is a Standard Event versus a Live Event?
- A Live Event is all fans are live with the celebrity for performances or interviews. A standard event is a pre-recorded event where the celebrity responds to all of your questions.
