Project Description
Next Generation Long Island, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization made up of young professionals, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders on Long Island. We are a collective of Nassau and Suffolk county residents aged 18 to 35 years old, and we are interested in bringing together Long Island's top young minds and leaders to address issues impacting youth in our community including the environment, affordable housing, transportation, and economic development.
We are proud to support young people on Long Island and honor the hard work we all do, but there is so much more work to be done to secure a future that is sustainable for our age group!
What are donations being collected for?
Your donation will bring us closer to our goal of $5,000. We have a strong online and social media presence with many supporters; our community is clearly eager and excited to get this work done within our community. We are hoping that you can be a part of this excitement by supporting our organization and community with a donation of any amount. No amount is too small to help move the needle on the issues we want to address for young people on Long Island.

We are first a civic engagement organization with a strong focus on spreading awareness and increasing action and are also a networking organization proud to support young people on Long Island and honor the hard work we all do. Our mission is to bring awareness to the Long Island community on issues including housing, transportation, economic development, and the environment through building a strong network of thought leaders and increasing action with a solution-based approach with key stakeholders to drive effective change for a future that is sustainable for our age group. Our organization is dedicated to the process of making this happen but we cannot do this alone and need your help.

There are two ways to get involved: (1) participate in our monthly board meetings, or (2) participate in our weekly intern meeting. We welcome new ideas and fresh perspectives. Please submit your Resume and Statement of Interest to [email protected].
