My Therapist is Black

The mission of My Therapist Is Black is to connect dope black therapist with clients seeking their services.

Black mental health therapists make up 4-8 percent of all mental therapist in the united states. The need for a competent black therapist has increased by fifty percent.  Clients are struggling to find a black therapist. Black therapists are struggling to build a counseling practice. professionals.

According to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Health) 6.8 million, African Americans are diagnosed with mental illness in 2019, the number has increased significantly in 2020 because of the pandemic. The pandemic and racial climate in the united states has increased the need for black therapists to work with black clients. Google reports an increase in searches for “African American” and “Black” therapists near me.

My Therapist is black will provide a directory and leads database for the therapist to connect with a client seeking their services.  Therapists will pay for vetted leads to fill their practice. My Therapist is Black will also provide marketing, coaching, and business services for black mental health professionals at various levels of business.

I am seeking funding to building a website, marketing the services, and build the database.

My team consists of:
