Thank you for taking the time to swing by my campaign page! My name is Crystal Rose, and I’m an artist from Kansas City now based in Nashville. You could be doing a million other things, but here you are, and that means the world to me.
I created this campaign to raise funds for my very first full album, and I am beyond excited. It's not easy asking for help, especially when you're an independent artist where grit is your best friend. I've been hustling my heart out for a while now, but this is one journey I can't navigate alone. The incredible support I've already received from my community has given me the courage to step up and ask for the help I need.
Nashville has welcomed me with open arms, and I'm blessed to have musicians and artists waiting to dive into this project with me.
That’s what makes recording this album even cooler, I'll be giving employment opportunities to around 15 talented musicians, producers, singers, and engineers. By supporting me, you're also supporting the talented community around me.
Usually, I'm juggling two jobs in the restaurant/bar industry to cover my needs and support my passion. Everything comes out of my own pocket, and let me tell you, it's exhausting. But I'm doing it because I believe wholeheartedly in what I'm creating.
This is where I ask for your help.
My goal is to raise at least $10,000, but if we can push it to $11,000, that's more studio time. Hit $12,000 and we're making music videos. Beyond that? Well, that's where the magic really happens—visuals, marketing, press, and promotion to take this project even further.
I've come up with some sweet incentives and rewards for everyone who lends a hand, but if you just want to offer support without claiming a reward, that's cool too. No matter what amount you choose to back me with, please know that I am absolutely, beyond grateful.

Why $10,000?
Making an album requires writing each of the songs (including 2 i haven't written yet), booking studio time, hiring a producer, engineer, musicians, and a mastering engineer. It also takes a lot of time to plan everything out. After several months of recording and producing the songs, more time and money go into marketing, promotion, distribution, photography, videography, merchandise, and more. After putting all that time and effort in, this campaign will helpme hire the right people to get my music in front of more people.
When Can i expect my reward?
this will depend on the reward. Some rewards, you will receive by the end of 2023 but most of the rewards are connected to the album so you will receive those closer to when the album is complete fall of 2024. any group activity will take place in Spring 2024 when it starts to warm up again. It'll feel like a sweet gift card you fogot you had.

This virtual show is designed with a communal experience In mind but it's also cool if you want to kick back on your own while you do some house chores. We'll pin down the date and time ahead of time (still TBD), and I'll be throwing down a 30-40 minute set with some great accompaniment.
Why not think about inviting some friends over? You can get those canvas and paintbrushes out, or maybe just have a casual potluck dinner. Set the table, and let my music be the backdrop for your night. It's all about creating a laid-back and memorable evening.
I'm still old-school, you know? I write songs in a notebook, pour my thoughts into a diary, and send out handwritten thank you notes. It'd be a real honor to pen one of those to show my thanks for your support.
