For My Daughter, Our adventuers with food allergie

I am an author and a book reviewer on social media under the name of Jeanette T. Queen. But this book is my real life and my mission is to share mine and my daughters story. My struggles in educating myself on becoming my daughter’s voice and advocate in the scary world of food allergies. This book is the book I wished I had when my daughter was first diagnosed. 

More children are being diagnosed with food allergies every day, and parents whose world has just been turned upside down by this diagnosis. I want to offer a glimmer of hope for them. Let them know they can do it and that they are not alone. I will help them through my experiences learn how to read a food label, contact food manufacturers, how to find an allergist that works for them, and discuss possible treatments. All from the parent’s point of view, one who has already lived through it.

My book For My Daughter, our adventures with food allergies. Shares our story, our struggles, and ultimately how I learned to navigate the world of food allergies on my own. I hope that our story will help others navigate through this challenging time, and hopefully find a glimmer of hope. Especially for the new food allergy parents, who feel lost, scared, and very alone. I want them to know that I have been there, I understand.

I am asking for funding to help cover all the costs that go into publishing a book. The several rounds of editing, formatting, printing, and marketing. I am an independent author, so it is just me trying to get my book and message out to anyone who will benefit from my journey.
