- Momma Bears Boutique has a mission to help households transition to zero waste lifestyle by educating them on changes that will be sustainable within their unique homes and lifestyles.
- Many believe zero waste is an all or nothing, are confused by choices and how to make changes, are not aware of the impact but want to change. Are worried it is expensive and complicated and are overwhelmed
- There is 94000 people in Dartmouth ns and there is one zero waste shop that is completely package free and focuses on food only. We have a unique set up with accessible parking, more than food, and a teachable concept.
- We sell local and small to med sized businesses products. We carry an arrange of gifts that are handmade, package free, refillable, reusable. We have refillable cleaners and personal care and serve our customers online, curbside, and local delivery. We help discover changes with a client. If they simply wish to switch their plastic toothbrush for a bamboo great! If they don’t want a solid shampoo bar but want to impact environmental change than we will encourage a refillable one that has a reusable bottle, recyclable or biodegradable and ingredients that are easier on our waterways.
- I am seeking funding to grow my startup faster, a lot of my cash has been invested into merchandise and merchandising. I want to create a marketing plan, install a dishwasher to extend to food refillables, bins for goods, and install a kitchenette so I may offer more services to my customers. Branded merchandise.
