Project Description
Our mission is to create a space for "The Modern Mommy" to empower and support the journey and joys of motherhood.
We are solving the problem of motherhood being undervalued and not being acknowledged. Mothers need to be able to show off their badge of honor in more ways than one. After all the hard work that is put into carrying, birthing, and raising children we deserve to show off a bit!
Our company provides Motherhood branded merchandise such as masks, clothing, accessories, planners geared specifically to a day in the life of a mother and manifestation journals. We intend to add more products as we grow, this is only the beginning.
We are seeking funding to purchase inventory for our online shop. We currently have designs and sample products we have carefully designed with motherhood in mind. We are now ready to take a leap and purchase inventory.
We are so thankful for all your help in making our dream come to life! We cannot wait to give mothers all over a sense of empowerment. We appreciate your hand in this vital community we are creating!

As the Founder of The Modern Mommy Shop, Azhane' Marcia created her business from her own experiences, needs and wants as a mother.
In navigating her way through motherhood (mother of three), she noticed that there was a lack of products that were created specifically for celebrating mothers and the motherhood journey.
This awakened an interest in something special for the ones who make the world go 'round.
Upon realizing this need, she decided to empower and uplift mommy's by providing a way to show off mommy-hood in a different way, other than just carrying a diaper bag and pushing a stroller.
Focusing on making mothers feel proud to be a part of an elite group, Azhane' strives to make the title of 'Mommy' one that is a positive badge of honor!
