Our mission is simple To join in the fight against hunger. We will do this by distributing food to hungry Hoosiers through food pantries.

The faces of hunger may surprise you. Many who need assistance are middle-class families, the working poor, children, and the elderly. We believe that no one should suffer from a lack of access to quality and nutritious food – but they do.

In fact, more than 1 million Hoosiers statewide are in need of food assistance. Our hungry neighbors are forced to make difficult choices each month, between paying for food and paying for transportation, medical care, and utilities. Many even must choose between paying for food and paying for housing. 181,810 people in Marion County are food-insecure. 66,074 children are food-insecure. 15% poverty rate. 41% are working but not earning enough.

To join in the fight against hunger Mercy place will Open be a stationary and mobile food pantry that offers a unique opportunity for us to directly reach individuals and families in need with fresh, healthy food at convenient and safe locations. Pantries operated in a way that makes everyone feel comfortable.

we are seeking fundings for start-ups. all donations will be used towards our mission, funds will be used to find an appropriate location for operation and to stocks the shelves with non-parishable food items.
