Mental Health Awareness and Advocacy
We would like to turn the stigma into an awareness and become advocates for those who suffer in silence. Bringing insight to the community.
Project Description
Nanilee's was created to heal by helping others in the mental health community. We would like to create a safe space free from stigma.
We started this business in hopes to make an impact on our communities that are being affected by the many mental health issues we face daily.
Our causes include Mental health awareness, Suicide prevention awareness, Breast cancer awareness, Autism awareness, Domestic Violence awareness, Child Abuse Awareness, Gun Violence Awareness and Addiction Awareness.
These causes are near and dear to us as well as our family, as well as the many communities that face these troubles daily.
We would like to turn the stigma into an awareness and become advocates for those who suffer in silence. We hope to bring insight and create solutions.
We would love to provide somewhere people can turn to and know they are not alone.
We have never felt the courage or drive to do something so important until we came through the struggle ourselves and thankfully ended up on the other side.
We would like to help people with my experience strength and hope, so we created a symbol of Rebirth, strength and hope.
Our dream is for this brand to expand and symbolize a camaraderie of awareness and partnership within the communities we serve.
Our goal is to give back to the same resources that helped save my life as well as many others.
Our products and logo represent a symbol of awareness to continue fighting for a life worth living to the fullest. As well as symbolizing that our story is not over and to keep going because we are not alone in the fight.
The market size is immeasurable due to the number of people we could assist by connecting, contributing and creating a safe space.
If awarded the grant we would be afforded the opportunity to market our brand to a larger audience via a social media and online presence. Also, by obtaining quality products and promoting in person while providing legitimate resources and attending community-based events structured around mental health.
We would update our website to attract and engage a larger audience. We could also acquire products, literature and marketing material that reflect the awareness's that are most important in the community without restriction or limitation in quantity or quality.
Our team currently consists of myself and my husband (who is also my business partner). We are looking to expand and hire employees as the business grows in popularity.
Thank you for the opportunity to bring our passion for paying it forward to life. This is truly an honor.
