Kalie Coley is the owner and operator of Beauty Mark Beauty Supply Store. For the past ten years, Kalie has worked in corporate America, gaining vital knowledge, and understanding about how a business is structured, establishing relationships with vendors, and negotiating and processing IPOs. Previously, she worked at a local beauty supply shop gaining experience by meeting the needs of customers and executing product orders. Kaliereceived her bachelor’s degree in business managementfrom LSUS and has decided to combine her passionsfor both cosmetology and business by creating a company of her own. Finding a lack of high-quality beauty product options available for a fair price and after realizing that most beauty supply store owners have little to no understanding of working with African American hair or clientele, Kalie was inspired to create Beauty Mark Beauty Supply Store. She first decided to create a mobile beauty supply company delivering high-quality hair, nail, and skincare products with same-day service during the pandemic to salons and barbers within the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. As an African American woman, Kalie knows the ins and outs of all the available products created for people just like her and has first-hand experience using them herself and on her clients. One of the largest consumers within the multibillion-dollar beauty industry are African American women making Kalie the perfect fit to guide customers as to which products they should use, including wig and extension recommendations. She plans to expand her business to open a physical store location within the next six months in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area.
