- "Fighting Hunger With Love"
- My Name is Yvette Hester and I am the Founder of "The Manna Project", I grew up in Nassau County my entire life, and due to the life-threatening levels of food insecurity in Nassau County and worldwide, my family decided to help, by starting a non-profit Food Pantry in our Community
- Due to the covid-19 pandemic, it has placed enormous pressure on food charities such as Food Banks,
Food Pantries, and Soup Kitchens globally. - We are officially 501c3 approved and we need the help and support of Nassau County Officials, our families, neighbors, and people at large to Work Together to eradicate Hunger Now!
- As I am in the process of reaching out to the political leaders of Nassau County for assistance to help us " The Manna Project," to help our community. I implore everyone, especially the residents of Nassau County to embark on this venture with us to end hunger in Nassau county( our communities ). Keep in mind, HUNGER, has no face, no color, no creed, or no nationality.
- The other way covid-19 will kill is HUNGER! As the world is surrounded by uncertainty, one thing is certain.
- " TOGETHER WE CAN OVERCOME HUNGER."
