Who We Are:
Linked NYC Inc's mission is to make eco-friendly, quality fashion that gives back to the community with every purchase made. We donate a percentage of profits to the chosen charitable cause.
Our goal is to make apparel you can feel good about. You can rest assured that every design is sustainably sourced and contributing to someone in need.
The possibilities are endless for Linked. We hope to have the opportunity to expand our collection and expand our reach.
The Founder:
Hi! I'm Nyna Gilpin, the founder (and currently the only employee) of Linked NYC Inc.
Born in New York, brought up in Florida, a 3-year detour to Las Vegas, and now back in NYC for 12+ years. I always knew NYC was where I was meant to be and I'm finally living my dream.
I've worked in the fashion industry for over 10 years. Starting from an entry-level CAD Artist, working my way up the ranks to Product Development Director for a $100m/year brand. And even with all of that, I would come home at night feeling tired, stressed, underappreciated and unaccomplished.
I've been so lucky to have the most incredible family and friends that have always supported me and my dreams and goals (even when they didn't agree with my path). And I know that I'm in a rare position. I know there are so many people out there that don't have that type of support. And that's why I knew that the way for me to feel motivated and accomplished at the end of the day would be to help supply that type of support to people who really need it. I NEEDED to do something that would give back to feel fulfilled.
And that's why I started Linked NYC Inc.
Why we need your help:
We are asking for support in designing our next collection, and to help with marketing, staffing and to fund working with a company that coaches ecommerce fashion businesses to grow and expand their business.
