Our mission

Bushy Combs prides itself in offering quality, affordable haircare products geared to the maintenance and health of hair. Through our utilization of Chebe in our products, we were able to create a market and jobs for many women in Chad, Africa and also in the United States. Our mission is to prevent hair loss, achieve hair growth and regrowth through the utilization of natural ingredients.

 

Our products

Bushy Combs products utilize natural herbs, oils, and butters which are ideal for healthy hair and scalp. We promote scalp health as a healthy scalp is the base and root to healthy hair.  Our products are safe, effective, and affordable. We use natural ingredients that are paraben and sulfate free. Our most popular line of products are our Chebe products. Chebe products have become widely popular in the United States since the introduction of Chebe in 2018.  Chebe is a natural herb found in Chad, Africa. It has been used by the women of Chad for decades, achieving floor-length hair. The traditional way of using Chebe is not ideal for Western culture, so we have developed our products to meet the needs of consumers who want the benefits of Chebe but are unable to utilize the herb in the traditional way.  We have infused Chebe into our butters and oils, making them specifically for women who have little time to use Chebe in the traditional way which involves applying the Chebe in the form of paste, braiding the hair, and leaving the Chebe in for several days before washing the paste out and repeating the process. Our products were designed for our consumers to be able use Chebe daily and easily. 

 

The Market

Our target customers include men, children, and women who want to utilize natural products for hair and skin care.  Our customers also experience hair loss or want to grow or re-grow their hair.  Hair loss is an epidemic, especially in the African-American community.  The high rate of hair loss is due to styling techniques.  Our products protect hair and provide the nourishment and moisture that is lost during the course of the styles.  Our customers have reported  less hair shedding, more length retention and overall healthier hair. It has also been reported that consumers were able to regrow hair and prevent further hair loss.

The total addressable market is over $46 billion.  Bushy Combs Herbal Haircare Inc is generating revenue and is also  gaining meaningful traction with customers. Based on this information, Bushy Combs projects that it will be able to capture a great percentage of this market over the next 5 years.

 

Launch Strategy and Distribution

Bushy Combs products are available for purchase online.  We are now seeking nationwide distribution of our hair care line.  Our products are unique, affordable, and effective.  Our goal is to be the leading brand of Chebe products and achieve brand loyalty, which would give us a huge competitive advantage over brands entering the market following Bushy Combs.  Upon reaching these goals, we will be able to successfully extend our line of products, which will increase sales and bring about further brand awareness. With Chebe and Chebe products becoming widely popular in the United States, consumers only have the option to purchase these products online. With Bushy Combs’ introduction into the market and distribution through retail outlets, consumers will be able to purchase products at local beauty supply shops, stores, and large retail chains, eliminating shipping costs and the wait for delivery of the items through the mail.  


 

Milestones:

In 2020, Walmart issued an Open Call for new vendors.  Upon successful buyer meeting, Bushy Combs was offered a partnership to sell on Walmart.com.  Bushy Combs utilizes Walmart’s fulfillment services.  With more funding, Bushy Combs will be able to produce products in larger volumes. If we can show we have manufacturing capabilities, we have an opportunity to be featured in Walmart stores nationwide.

Funding Needed

Bushy Combs Herbal Haircare, Inc is seeking $500,000 in investment funding to hire team members, utilize funds for production and distribution and for marketing and advertising. We are seeking this amount in exchange for 20 percent equity. 

 

Financial Projections.

Bushy Combs is earning revenue, but with the requested funding, we would be able to generate meaningful revenues in a relatively short period of time.  Hair care is a billion dollar industry expected to exceed $46 billion in 2022 and grow to $102 billion by 2024. Natural hair care products market size was $8.74 Billion in 2017 and expected to grow at an annual rate of 4.7 % from 2020 to 2027. Rising awareness related to the benefits of natural hair care products is one of the main factors fueling market growth.  

 

Future of the company

Bushy Combs will continue to research and develop natural remedies for healthy hair and skin products.  We are currently adding vegan cosmetics, natural body care, and a line extension of hair products that will cater to a diverse group of consumers.  These products will be designed for specific hair types, customized to fit the needs of the consumers and their hair types.  This will also be true for our skincare and cosmetics line.  We will address the needs and concerns of our consumers with products that are created with them in mind.
