What is Ladybird Society?

Ladybird Society is a collaboration hub, communal working space and business accelerator located in Downtown Salt Lake City. It's a space for women like you, to thrive, work, and connect with other powerful women and those who identify with womanhood. Whether you have your own business, want to start your own business, or want to get out of your office a day or two each week, we have the perfect space for you. You can also use our space to network, meet a friend or a colleague for coffee, or just hang out and get some time to read a good book.

Our Space

We are open from early till late with community style desk seating where you can work on your business, write a book, hold a million dollar sales conference, close deals or just meet a friend for coffee.

Our intention is to have everything you need for a productive work day from:

• Conference and Meeting Rooms
• Mothers room where you can pump or breastfeed in private - you can also store your breastmilk in the mini fridge till the end of the day
• Beauty Room where you can freshen up before heading into a conference or even a Zoom call. We provide hair tools and products
• Nap room that’s fully stocked with clean blankets, eye masks, ear plugs, a white noise machine and essential oils so you can totally zone out 
• Podcast Booth with a mic and headphones 
• Phone Booths to take any private calls 
• Focus room  for distraction-free workday where you can write your next NY #1 Best Selling book
• Unlimited Coffee, tea, and snacks
• Plus items for purchase like protein shakes and yogurts

We have a drop in center so mommas can get to business without the stress of arranging a sitter. Or trying to work from home with your littles asking for snacks every two and a half seconds.

But more than just co-working, we've created a comfortable space for women to connect with other powerful, motivated women. Our emphasis on self-development, wellness, guided networking, and business growth contributes to our high vibe workspace. Our intention is for every member to have access to our space to locate resources, get information, business help, and advice when they need it.

How about having someone to occasionally bounce ideas off of? Or to have a  community of women where you know that they are all rooting for you and your success.

Our community really centers around women helping and supporting other women.

Programming and Events

We curate the best events. Seriously. And we cater to all types of women and their wants and needs. We deliver programs and content to invest in yourself, both personally and professionally.

With business topics on entrepreneurship, leadership development, bookkeeping, SEO, marketing, branding, (How to Make Money on Instagram was a recent, totally sold out event) and so many other things in the works.

We want our members to have a really great work/life balance so we host fun events and topics around personal development. Or even just a mom's night out.

We encourage our members to make connections outside of a "professional" environment to build lasting connections with events like bi-monthly mimosa brunches, happy hours, and craft nights (Wine + Craft Nights), and more.

And our wellness events range from weekly meditation sessions to yoga and classes about essential oils, crystals, etc.

Services

We are in the process of partnering with local boss ladies, professionals, mentors, coaches, attorneys, etc to set up a program for all of our members to have insanely easy access to any business services that they may need.

Tasks and Errands: We'll be offering concierge-like services designed to help you get the time back in your day. Whether you want us to pick up lunch from the food court nearby or pick up your dry cleaning. We've got your back babe.

We are even partnering with local service providers like chiropractors, massage therapists, even a local blow dry bar - so you can make time to take care of yourself. Get out of boss mode for a bit and refocus. Let the service providers come to you!

Our Why

We want to do good in the world, and so we are.

Have you ever felt like you have a life's purpose that is so much bigger then yourself, but you don't know what that is? That's how I've always felt. No matter what successes I had, from building multiple businesses from the ground up to having a business that could support 20 amazing women, it wasn't enough. And now I realize why.

Ladybird Society is it. It's what we were both meant to do.

We have worked SO hard to get this business going. We've jumped off the high board and we're waiting, hoping to reach the water and swim. But still free falling at this moment. And that's why we need your help.

We want to help as many women as possible. Already this project has been super impactful. We've shared tears with women that have come in for a tour and are so take back by the fact that they now have this amazing space to come to, this port in the rain, this safe haven- they break down into happy tears. I'm not talking about once or twice, this has happened more times then I can count. What we are doing is meaningful. It gives women a chance to really do what they want to do. It gives them the confidence to reach for their dreams and the knowledge, the support, and guidance to get there.

And the fact that we have easily accessible and dependable childcare available - it's literally life-changing for so many moms. And not only the fact that we have childcare but it's the whole idea behind it. Yes you can be an amazing mom and still want to have your own business or give attention to your career.

It's like our space is saying "Yes, you can be a mom AND a business woman. You don't have to choose."

You can have it all. And with our space, it'll be a just a bit easier.

But now that we have "caught" so many women that were free falling, we hope that you will catch us.

As a self-funded start up, we don't have an unlimited amount of funds. And if you've ever started a business, you know that things don't always go as planned. And boy did we plan, but won't have enough to keep going for long.

We need help.

Reaching our goal will make sure that we can have the time we need to flourish, to market, to accelerate our pace and make sure everyone knows about Ladybird Society and what we can do to help them.  This will give us cash flow for the next 6 months so that we can breathe again.

When women support other women, incredible things happen. Scholarship Program

In our efforts to give back and to reach a wide range of women, not just those that can afford a space like ours, we have a Scholarship Program. For every 5 memberships, we give one away to a woman in our community who is in need of a support system.

Long Term Plans

We are looking at the big picture. We've had so many women reach out requesting for us to open a Ladybird Society in their area or asking how they can get involved to open their own. We want to be able to offer women an opportunity to open their own location with our help. So the faster we can gain our footing, the faster we can have an even larger impact.
