Who Are We?
Korai Goods offers hand-crafted jewelry, textiles, and ceramics from our studio in Pine Lake, GA. Taking our background in fine arts and our love of nostalgia seriously, we treat each order that leaves our studio as an opportunity to create heirloom-worthy jewelry and home goods. Our work is designed to be worn, loved, and passed down or over. Each piece is equal parts modern simplicity and organic imperfection. We believe in honoring the 'hand' in handmade.
Why KORAI GOODS?
With the pitfalls of fast fashion continuing to be exposed, and the love and appreciation of handmade goods on the rise, the potential for our small operation to grow is extraordinary. At KORAI GOODS we understand the importance of honing and perfecting our skillset, and providing our customer with the highest quality goods. This is always done with our community and environmental impact in mind.
So, whatcha gonna do with the funds?
We are utilizing this platform in order to create a solid financial foundation, expand our wholesale marketing/sales efforts, upgrade our studio, and hire an employee! With the proper sales team in place, and a fully operational studio space, I truly believe that the sky's the limit. We'll begin to see our full potential once these financial barriers are removed.
We are small, but we are mighty!
A little bit about me: I knew in high school that I wanted to pursue a career in the arts. I had some tremendous art teachers that aided in the development of my creative identity. So once I decided on the Drawing program at the University of Florida, I believed I would be able to map out life's trajectory... both personal and professional. Needless to say, there were many unforeseen twists and turns. I was approaching 30 with no real "plan" in sight. I decided to circle back around to my first love that was never fully actualized; creating. On a bit of a whim, and as a life "pause button", I entered an 18 mo professional diploma program in Fashion Retail & Merchandising. This re-framed my work into something that was less precious by taking it off gallery walls, while simultaneously making it more precious by adding an heirloom quality. Work to be worn, and to adorn. To love, and to pass down. This idea launched KORAI GOODS.
I have found my true calling, and am forever grateful to all those who continue to support my creative efforts. Thank you to everyone for your time, attention, and consideration.
You all are an integral part in making my dreams come true!
