Our Mission:

To acclimate people to golf in a very casual and relaxed setting.

Our Goal:

To diversify the people you see on the golf course and in the PGA and LPGA.

Where we are:

Currently, we provide one-on-one and group lessons to those who have never tried golf before due to fear of stereotypes and lack of confidence. I meet with prospects over a glass of wine (or drink of their choice) and introduce them to terminology, course etiquette, and what to expect. We then slowly but surely move to the course for a more hands-on lesson, at a pace they feel comfortable.

Where are we headed:

My ultimate goal is to create a more laid-back version of Top Golf by combining a winery and golf course. Tee & Wine will be the ultimate wine lounge and golf course. The lounge will feature wines from various places including our own vineyard. It will be set with television, entertainment, and dining. The golf course will feature a simulated driving range and a short course of just 9 holes ranging from Par 3 to Par 4. There will also be a training facility that follows our current blueprint from wine to tee acclimating golf prospects casually. Unlike a country club, there is no membership, and all are welcome. It’s a relaxing space to enjoy golf without the memberships and red tape.

The Founder:

Hi, I am Jasmine Perrin. If there’s one place that black people, especially black women lack representation it’s in the PGA and LPGA. As a black woman on the golf course, I always felt that I stood out like a sore thumb. Women and minorities are so few on the golf course and in the past, we were only allowed close to a course if we were working on it. However, I love the game so much that a few “you don’t belong here” type stares don’t stop me from playing. Because the game is so nuance to people like me, I am always met with adoration for my courage to take on the game but also with hesitancy for people to learn and join me. I wanted to give other people, especially minorities, the ability to learn golf in a more relaxing way. So, I started Tee & Wine. Golf is my favorite way to relax but when I’m not on the course, you can find me on my couch with a glass of wine.
