Choice of Fabric
We are offering you two sustainable fabrics for this IFW campaign:
1. Repreve: recycled polyester made from recycled plastic bottles
2. (Stretch goal) Tencel: a natural fibre made from wood pulp – usually from eucalyptus, beech, birch, and spruce trees, using less chemicals and less water.

We will also collect your measurements in a survey.

Risks and challenges
DELAYS IN SHIPPING - All materials will be ordered AFTER the Kickstarter campaign ends, and then all the unskirt will be made to order. This means the estimated timeline is dependent on receiving all materials in a timely manner, and that there are no issues or setbacks during the sewing of the garments. We will send periodic updates to keep you informed of your order and its progress.

Sustainable materials
Unskirt is made of REPREVE and Tencel. 1. REPREVE fabric is made from post-consumer waste (www.repreve.com). 2. Tencel is made of sustainably sourced renewable raw material wood and produced by environmentally responsible processes (www.tencel.com/fiber-story). 3. Our packing and shipping materials are recyclable and/or compostable (www.groundedpackaging.co).
