Integro Recovery & Detox Center

Our mission statement is simple in words, but is a challenge when it comes to the work. Restore • Recreate • Start Afresh. The mission statement is actually the definition of the Latin word “integro”. Addiction takes mothers away from daughters, brothers away from sisters, grandparents away from grandkids. Addiction is real. Drug addiction is not easy to break. Our Center is a safe, nonjudgmental place where a person can “restore, recreate and start afresh”. We will provide a 21-day detox center where people can go and receive time away from their home in a safe place to begin the first step in recovery: detox. While at our center, they will receive classes such as budgeting, parenting and health and nutrition. They will volunteer and learn a hobby/craft for a coping strategy. They will also meet with a counselor to set goals, obtain a sponsor and begin working on themselves.

In SW Missouri there are two social setting detox facilities. When we called to inquire, there was a six month waiting list at one facility. People who are trying to get clean need better and quicker access to safe sober places. Our facility will also help them in the second part of their journey by helping them get to a sober living place, an  in-patient rehab or an out-patient rehab. Our goal is to cut down the need for a 4-5 month wait for a bed.

Honestly, we hope to create such a great program that we will recreate it in other areas of Missouri and eventually other states! The need for people to have a safe place to get sober is so important! At this time our first facility will help around 800 people a year. 

We will eventually become a 501(c)(3). Our application is in processing! We will use all funding to begin construction on our building and providing a place for detox. Serina and Cherie are the brains and the team behind this operation. Neither have struggled with addiction but both have had addiction touch their family's lives. What started out as a joke..."maybe we should open a detox center!" is quickly becoming a reality. We have land and plans! Thank you for supporting the mission that we love so dearly!
