We here at Wigs by Lanre, believe that every person of every color, race, sexuality, and transition has the power to channel their inner "You". Overview:
Wigs by Lanre is a Wig Store that specializes in customized 100% human hair wigs. We range from the sale of ready-made wigs and wig accessories to designing wigs from scratch and delivering them in less than 2 weeks. Before I got into the business of wig making, as a college student, I found many frustrations with the process of buying a wig. There are no solidified ways of obtaining a wig with the style you want and the price you can afford. Within this industry, we guarantee that we can take advantage with organization, structure, and consistent distribution.
Purpose:
Wigs by Lanre’s code is to give customers consistent access to quality wigs at every price range available. We will also push technology to its absolute limit and beyond by creating innovative customization solutions that will allow customers to build their perfect wig. We at Wigs by Lanre believe that helping people needs to be an obligation. Not only do we create custom-made wigs, cheaper, more quality, and faster delivery than the competition, we also help undocumented immigrants financially with job opportunities, provide financial stability to lower-income individuals, and give back to communities in need.
Product:
Wigs by Lanre will produce wigs and hair extensions from wig bundles and closures/frontals. Once wigs are complete, they are maintained and prepped with a wash and an overnight soak and dry. Before the wig is sent to the customer, it is finished with 2 different shine and protection sprays. The wigs are made to be used for more than 6 months if properly maintained.
Market:
Our market audience is those who are looking for a central authority/organization when it comes to wigs. The age range will be anywhere from 18-65 and maybe even older. Our wigs will also be essential for not only women but those in the LGBTQ community as well. The bulk of my targeted market audience will be the younger generation who want strong, powerful, attention-demanding hair. With this audience, we will also be able to reach the older generation who want a simple, subtle, and elegant piece.
Need for Funding:
Wigs by Lanre is in need of funding. This funding would be used for a new website, inventory, logistics, and advertising. We are in the makings of a new and improved website and need to fund its development. We also need to purchase a bulk inventory order of all wig products and accessories to expand our business. We will use the funds to finalize our pipeline from vendor to customer, as we need income to make some processes and fast and efficient as possible. Lastly, we will use the rest of the funds to promote, sponsor and market to our larger demographic of Women and the LGBTQ+ community.
