IEP Clinics

We need your support to continue educating families of students served in Special Education Programs. There are approximately 7 Million students receiving special education supports/services throughout the United States. Many of the minority students are underserved and there is an identified disproportionality of eligibility along with equal access to quality services. Our IEP Clinics would bridge this gap by helping families to learn how to better advocate for their children during IEP Meetings. IEP stands for Individualized Education Program, which is a document designed to outline all the specific supports and services a student may need to receive a fair and appropriate public education experience. ZMB is raising $80K to provide 24 IEP Clinics per year via using the Zoom platform paired with On-Demand recordings to ensure more families have access to receiving this pertinent information. We believe parents will be empowered and encouraged to actively advocate for their child in these IEP meetings after completing our clinic.
