Hygge Beaute

My name is Lisa Stoltz and I’m the owner and founder of Hygge (Hoo-ga) Beaute. Our vision is to help you to better embrace the simple pleasures that life offers by designing and producing products and services which facilitate your wellness goals. I’m seeking your support to bring my first private label product (a yoga mat/massage bag) to market.

At the heart of Hygge is the pursuit to be more present and aware in each moment. I believe that many of us have gotten away from basics and that being intentional about wellness and mental health is the way to experience more joy and contentment.

For the past 18 years my career has been in the hospitality industry as a massage therapist, esthetician, spa owner and spa manager. I am an expert in helping people to relax and rejuvenate, but in my own life and in the life of many of my colleagues self care started to become more of an afterthought. Service and healthcare providers are some of the hardest working people I know. Yet, many of us suffer from burnout and need to find better balance.

How can we all bring more Hygge into our lives? Nature, music, rest, sipping tea, sitting by the fire with a good book, lighting a candle, aromatherapy, doing yoga, mindfulness, breath work—these and so many other simple pleasures can help us be much more grounded and increase our capacity to give to others. This vision I’m trying to bring to life is taking shape. I know it will grow exponentially and take me to places I never dreamed of, but I have begun.
