HumanKind Box

Young women facing a cancer diagnosis have specific needs that are not generally understood. Those newly diagnosed and the people who love them want to “do something” but don’t know where to start. 

We seek to improve the lives of young women with cancer and offer a support solution to the friends and family who care about them. HumanKind Box is a collection of curated products specifically designed for the unique needs of young women with cancer.

Through HumanKind Box, young women facing cancer will receive a collection of items thought-sourced through a community of co-survivors. Those who love them will have a way to positively impact their recovery and show support.

About the founders, Grace & Audrey:

Grace was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 while pregnant with her son. Audrey felt an overwhelming need to “do something” for her friend in crisis but had no idea where to begin. Traditional gift shops didn’t have a single thing that felt truly thoughtful or helpful in any way. She googled, she asked around, she did some social media mindhive requests, and came up with some things that were meaningful as well as comforting. Inspired by the idea that this could become HumanKind Box, Grace joined in to add her new-found expertise and insights from her cohort of fellow survivors and co-survivors.

Together they decided to create a place to find meaningful, appropriate, personal, and purposeful items for women facing cancer. Because this is where the HumanKind Box story began.
