House of Do Good

Mission:

We are an UNCOMPROMISING FORCE FOR GOOD for the families we serve through providing housing, food security and family-focused resources. 

Who We Are:

We are the Do Good Daniels (as seen on the Ellen DeGeneres Show). We are the proud parents of four young men and a dog named Knox. Together, we are the Founders of The Do Good Daniels Family Foundation and Friendd Inc., a Los Angeles based 501(c)3 dedicated to advocating for the housing insecure.

We are a family that is familiar with difficult and uncertain times. As a family of six, we learned early what it meant to sacrifice, love unconditionally, and to experience need.  As parents, we worked hard but we were still one paycheck away from not being able to meet our family obligations.

Though we were having a hard time ourselves, out of our own need we set out to help others to help relieve their burdens.  Giving back is in our family’s DNA.

Becoming a Part of the Solution:

In the City of Angels, where the weather is warm, the sun shines bright, and some of the most fortunate people live, there is a dark side of the city that most would rather pretend doesn't exist.  On any given night, there are over 35,000 people unsheltered and sleeping on the streets, in cars, or in other uninhabitable locations; approximately 13,000 of these people of women and children.

To begin to see a turnaround, in these devastating statistics, we must join forces to combat the crisis. 

We Are Up to Doing Good: 

We are The Do Good Daniels Foundation and we are doing our part, but we need your help. We are opening a ten-bedroom facility to provide shelter for women and children.  We are asking you to support our endeavor by making a donation to help us provide shelter and other supportive services for our program participants.
