| Hi I am Briana and I am the founder & owner of The Hive Chester. The Hive is a space where you are known. Entrepreneurs, remote employees, startups, freelancers, and all who choose to be a member will thrive in our community. |
| Here's the problem: We are all juggle family, a career, and our personal lives. With all the resources we have to connect with people online, it is still difficult to create meaningful connections in person and now with COVID we need a place to get our work done that isn't our kitchen table. I know that there are times I feel incredibly isolated at home or at work. Here are the issues: 1. We can't afford or don't have our own office space or Drive 30 minutes plus minutes to Hartford, NH or New London, time we are missing out on with our families. 2. Its hard to make time for ourselves, finding a community, making friends, and meeting people who support us both personally and professionally is challenging. Who has the time. 3. We are easily distracted by all the things we need to do with our days, in our home, or at our jobs. We need focus. |
| The Hive Chester solves this problem by providing : 1. a place where you can work that is affordable, beautiful and comfortable. where you are seen, heard, and supported in your work. 2. a place where you can have separation between home-life and work-life, so you can be more effective at both. 3. a place you can find the support and resources you need to be successful in accomplishing whatever your goal is. |
| The Hive members are integral parts of our community: We are entrepreneurs, remote employees, startups, freelancers, parents, volunteers, retirees, from all walks and stage of life. Our common thread is that we all want to achieve our goals and support others in achieving their goals. |
| I am a full time working mom. I understand how hard it can be to balance work, parenting, time for yourself and all your other responsibilities. Because of my love of Chester, 17 years in the Coast Guard, 8 years as a parent, 40 years as a human being, I know how hard life can get, and I am here to support you! |
| I'm raising $25,000 to fund The Hive's dedication to elevating local businesses, and ensure our survival into a Post COVID restriction world. Our space, content series & social events are designed to inspire balance in your work and social life. The money will go to sustaining our business and providing amazing content to our members. Including a business series on topics such as marketing, Instagram reach, design your own Squarespace website, and more. Our personal growth events include seminars on health and wellness, mental health, wine tastings, book clubs, and networking events. Our purpose is to connect and thrive in our personal and professional lives. |
