The Problem Women Face

Starting in middle school and continuing through ages in our 50s, women are experiencing debilitating cramps, heavy bleeding, fatigue and headaches up to seven days per month. At times, the severity is disruptive of our daily routines.

I, for example, had extremely heavier cycles and cramping. My Southern Belle, prim and proper Grandmother would say "I'd be very upset if I bleed in my clothing or bedding during my period".  Through my struggles I explained to my Grandmother,  I'm wearing three heavy duty pads to bed plus changing often during the day . I thought it was just my problem. Two of my aunts had hysterectomies in their thirties which seemed to be the solution. 

Fast forwarding to having two daughters of my own and the cycle continued. They were absent from school and when attending school, spent time in the nurse's office laying on cots with heating pads. Our situation was far from unique as research states 80% of women are impacted. 

The Ancient Healing Ritual 

A Vaginal Steam also known as Yoni Steam is an ancient ritual practiced in countries such as Africa, Asia and in Central America. This practice of healing involves sitting over steaming water infused with carefully chosen herbal blends. After wrapping a towel/blanket around our waist or wearing a steaming gown we allow the steam to penetrate up through the vaginal area and enter our wombs. 

We all understand our sacred space is naturally self-cleansing. But, women are still experiencing unpleasant odor, discharge and various other obstacles such as yeast infections.  

Steaming our yoni, another name for vagina, is a holistic approach to healing our bodies of these concerns from the inside out.

Her Pink Pearl Vaginal Steaming Spa will be the first of its kind in the State of Iowa. Yoni/Vaginal steaming has recently gained national attention as women start taking our health, wellness and self-care to the next level. We will create a feminine inspired oasis for healing women. 

The customized throne seating for steaming services is an ultimate Her Pink Pearl experience. We will invite our guest to participate in the discussion of their internal healing as we select the right steaming herb treatments.  We provide organic natural herb steam healing sessions in lieu of body damaging medication while promoting a healthier lifestyle choice.

The herbal blends used for steaming are biodegradable making this process environmentally safe. 

We Want To Help You

The target market base are women ages 21-40 who have had long standing issues during their period. However, we do understand menstruation problems may arise before or after this target age group. Therefore, our secondary target will include reaching out to teens and pre-menopausal women.

We Need Your Support

We will lease a facility that will require slight renovations to accommodate our vision.  The attached cost analysis details how the funds will be utilized.
