Help us Launch Black Marigolds Inc!

Chicago's arts ecosystem is rich, dynamic and ever evolving. I created Black Marigolds Inc, to fill a gap in arts offerings for youth ages 11-17 in the city, especially in parts of the South Side and suburbs. With Black Marigolds, we intend to center and teach the work of black and brown artists, contemporary and historical. Our arts programs and curriculum is designed to empower and support the intersectional identities of BIPOC youth participants. 

We are raising funds to support our first program, a community arts giveaway for youth at two public schools in the Chicago area. We need your help to fill every Black Marigold Creativity and Innovation kit with art supplies from BIPOC businesses.  Additionally your contribution will help us lay the groundwork to partner with schools and youth organizations in the Chicagoland area starting in fall 2022. 

Our motto is "your voice, your vision, your creativity matters!" Support Black Marigolds as we plant the seeds for years of BIPOC centered arts education and services for Chicago youth.
