Help me open my black owned restaurant!!!
I am ready to open the doors to my black owned business SpicyGurlCrawfish. The objective is to serve and employ underprivileged communities.
Project Description
My business spicy girl crawfish is a concept I produced after leaving my previous job as a manager at a local sandwich shop. The reason I left the job was because of unethical practices going on that I could not be a part of. I was passed up for a promotion I was promised due to favoritism, while being used for my work ethic. I decided that I have the skills to successfully open my own business after my prior situation. I know that I can open my restaurant with positive results regarding revenue and profit. I created my signature sauce which is the Spicy Gurl sauce, and this sauce is the foundation behind my brand. There is a need for more food service establishments in my area and more job development for underprivileged minorities in my neighborhood. My only challenge currently is acquiring funding to get a fully equipped kitchen to begin the operations of my business. I am also currently completing a degree in Hospitality Management currently to further advance myself in my career.
If I were to receive a funding through with the collective help of the public the first thing I would do is lease a commercial kitchen space. The next thing would be to buy all my equipment I would need for the kitchen, as well as permits and certification. Lastly, I would hire my first employees and begin operations. I appreciate the fact that this program helps people and small businesses and I hope you consider me
with a open heart.
