Estella’s Day Spa With two investors for $10,000 each, I am still looking to add $16,000 for the full 20% of my opening expenses

Estella’s Day Spa is a high-end spa located in Raleigh, North Carolina.  At Estella’s, we cater to your needs and are here to give you a personalized retreat from life's daily struggles.  While offering a range of massages, skin care and body treatments, our space is also a retreat itself.  We encourage you to come and unwind in no rush with non-invasive treatments and a modern, minimalistic approach to relaxation.

Mission-  We’re here to create a space where you can turn inward to release stress and leave putting your best foot forward.

Vision-  Our vision is to redefine the Spa Industry from a luxury to a self-care essential.

Target Market- Our target market includes young professionals within the Raleigh, North Carolina, area.  These individuals will highly value being successful in their career and also maintaining their personal image.  Our average guest will have an annual salary just above Raleigh's average around $80,000.  Multitaskers with high-set goals, our target market has the “type A” personality that will be drawn to our understanding of their busy lifestyle. 

Competition- While North Caroline requires spa owners to obtain a license in the field, many spas lean more towards the skin care side of the business and not massage.  In the industry, massage is overall more popular with both sexes while skin care is usually geared towards specific women.  In turn, this can bring a very feminine energy to the space.  Locations in the area such as Skin Sense, Spa Retreat Cary and Lorena Luca Skin & Spa, which are all full service spas, can deter prospective male clientele and others looking for a neutral space to unwind.  Spa chains such as Massage Envy or Hand and Stone will offer an inclusive space but lack the entire spa experience.

Competitive Edge- Estella’s will create an inclusive unisex environment where both massage and skin care are equally accessible.  Detailed guest notes kept overtime will assure a personal experience as all your preferences are met during your visit, every time.  Knowing our guests have busy schedules and may run late on some occasions, 20 minutes “turn-around time” will be allotted after each appointment.  Despite not being marketed, half of this time will be set for specialists to disinfect and flip the room while the other half can be used as treatment time to ensure guests receive their full service.  This is a common issue which affects the Spa Industry with guests not arriving on time and because of that, it lowers their spa experience.  These are the keys that will set Estella’s Day Spa apart from our competition.

Community Support- It has always felt very important for me to give back to those who have not been as privileged as I have been.  The past two years I have organized multiple events in downtown Atlanta, GA to help those in need and plan to do so in Raleigh, NC as a business as well.  Estella’s Day Spa will also host bi-monthly treatment give-aways to nominated individuals performed by the owner (me).  This will not only provide relief to those in stressful times but also allow me to share my gift while still maintaining the spa owner and manager status.
